Our Hydrogen Flask uses electrolysis to dissolve hydrogen gas into the water.
This process involves the technology of Proton Exchange Membrane (PEM) to ensure maximum purity and concentration.
Simply put:
A Proton Exchange Membrane (PEM) is a key component in a hydrogen water generation.
- Two Electrodes: The PEM setup includes two electrodes: an anode and a cathode.
- Electrolysis Process: When ELV is applied, water (H₂O) is split into hydrogen (H₂) and oxygen (O₂) at the electrodes.
- Role of the Membrane: The PEM allows only hydrogen ions (protons) to pass through it from the anode side (where hydrogen is produced) to the cathode side, while keeping oxygen and other gases separated.
- Hydrogen Production: The protons pass through the membrane, and they combine with electrons (that come from the external circuit) on the cathode side to form hydrogen gas.
- Result: The hydrogen gas is then dissolved in the water, creating hydrogen water for you to drink.
Does Hydrogen water taste different?
